Some people across the lake from us, have been flying a rc plane. It can do loops and twirls and it looks really cool.
How much would one of these cost?
Where would the best (cheapest) place to buy it from?

I am planning to make a radio controlled airplane. Here’s what I am going to use:
I am going to use two chips ripped off from two radio controlled cars.
One of the chip will control the ailerons, and the flaps.
Other of the chip control the rudder and the propeller.

The flaps will be controlled by motor, which has rods on both the sides, and will work similar to a basic radio-controlled car.
The ailerons will also be controlled by a motor, perpendicular to the rod connecting the ailerons. It will have a gear which will turn the other two gears, which will move in opposite directions.
The rudder will work similar to the flaps.

The things I am not able to solve:::
Do I need a propeller that should have different speeds?
If I use springs to bring the rudders, flaps and ailerons back to original position, will it be work? Any other better option?

I am looking for a good, and nice radio controlled airplane. I like something like a boing 747 or a jet, but am opern to anything that flies high and isof a good quality. It must be something that needs no, or very little assembly, and is less then $75 but I will take a look at anything of any price. My mother lives on a large farm, and so I would have plenty of space to fly it. If there are any good websites to go to or you have personal experiances with this type of plane, or hobby please help me! I am new to this but very excited about it

My 4 year old son really wants an airplane or helicopter this year for Christmas. I remember a couple of years ago seeing on TV this helicopter, or was it an airplane, that was safe for someone in his age group to fly indoors. I think the blades may have been made of styrofoam. I can’t seem to find out what it is anywhere and would really love to get this for my son, if anyone knows what this is it would be great.

I am looking for a hobby magazine that’s just about radio controlled helicopters. I have a copy of Fly RC, and it looks good, but it covers radio controlled model airplanes mostly. Sense R/C helicopters are much harder to master, it looks like there would be a hobby magazine that is devoted to the radio controlled helicopter hobby. Ideally I would like a magazine that would not only cater to the experienced R/C helicopter pilots, but would help the newbies like myself as well. There are just so many models out there for the beginner to chose from. The Chinese imports alone are too numerous to count, and their affordable! Then there are the hop-up parts, a whole cottage industry has sprung up around, making improvements in the basic Chinese imports. Can anybody give me an Internet site that will list all of the radio controlled helicopter hobby magazines? I know there must be several out there.
